A1GP: Canada Takes Win!

A1gp_can Team Canada wins their maiden race.

Following the return to the front of team France and Lapierre in the sprint race at Sentul, Indonesia, the feature race threw up a surprise winner as  Mackintosh powered the team Canada car to a well deserved maiden win.

With the safety car deployed at the end of the first lap following a collision between Japan and Indonesia, Robbie Kerr in the Great Britain entry held the lead as many chose to make their compulsory stop.

As the safety car came in, the France and Malaysia cars endured a coming together, which led to Lapierre pitting for a new front wing. Canada, meanwhile, had a drive through penalty imposed for crossing the pit-lane white line.

With many cars dodging the gravel traps, USA, France and Austria among them, the saftey car made an inevitable return to the circuit as Lebanon's car became stuck in a trap. Still Kerr stayed out while others made their stops.
